3 Quick and Easy Matcha Drink Recipes
Equipment
- Small bowl
- Bamboo whisk
- Frother
- Blender
- Spoon
- Sieve or Mesh strainer
- Serving cup
- Measuring spoons
Ingredients
Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte
- 1 tbsp Strawberry syrup
- 1 tbsp Strawberry conserve or muddled straeberries
- ½ cup Milk of your choice
- ¼ cup Water
- Ice
- 2 tsp matcha powder
Maple Syrup Matcha Latte
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla syrup
- 1 tbsp strawberry conserve or muddled straeberries
- ½ cup milk of your choice
- ¼ cup water
- Ice
- 2 tsp matcha powder
Mango Matcha Latte
- 1 tsp sugar or cane sugar syrup
- ¼ cup of mangos
- ½ cup milk of your choice
- ¼ cup water
- Ice
- 2 tsp matcha powder
Cream Drizzle
- 2 tbsp whipped cream or double cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla syrup
Instructions
Strawberry Matcha
- In a serving cup, add your strawberry conserve and strawberry syrup .
- Use a frother or spoon to mix until smooth
- Fill the cup with ice
- In a seperate bowl, sift in matcha powder
- Add water and mix thoroughly using a chasen until smooth
- Pour milk into the cup over the strawberry base
- Pour in the mixed matcha on the top to give a layer
- Optional – Serve with cream mix ( recipe below)
Maple Syrup Matcha Latte
- In a serving cup, drizzle maple syrup .
- Fill the cup with ice
- In a seperate bowl, sift in matcha powder
- Add water and mix thoroughly using a chasen until smooth
- Pour milk into the cup over the ice
- Pour in the mixed matcha on the top to give a layer
- Optional – Serve with cream mix (recipe below)
Mango Matcha Latte
- Blend mango chunks with sugar or syrup until smooth to make mango purée.
- In a serving cup, add the mango purée.
- Fill the cup with ice
- In a separate bowl, sift in matcha powder
- Add water and mix thoroughly using a chasen until smooth
- Pour milk into the cup over the mango base
- Pour in the mixed matcha on the top gently to give a layered effect
- Optional – Serve with cream mix ( recipe below)
Cream Drizzle
- In a small bowl, combine the whipped cream and vanilla syrup
- Froth the mix until smooth ( you can adjust syrup to taste)
- You can also add syrup depending on the matcha type (i.e., strawberry syrup for strawberry matcha )
- Drizzle over finished matcha latte
